I was referred to Dr Nagendra by one of my close friend who is also a doctor at Medanta. I am so glad that I took his advice and seeing doctor for last 6 months. I got Angioplasty done for my father which was very complicated requiring multiple stents and non conventional Intravascular ultrasound study required for calcium deposits. He did very skilfully and my father got discharged in a day.
Incidentally, my mother also got Angioplasty done by some other doctor in another hospital. While her Angioplasty was straight forward we didn’t have good experience with doctor and eventually I am seeing Dr Nagendra for her as well now.
I have no words to thank Dr Nagendra Singh Chouhan as he has saved my parents. He is very competent , well experienced and top of it a humble human being. Listens to his patients with patient ears, pays attention to details and gives the right advice or surgery as necessary.
He is supported by Mr Sahil Kumar who manages his appointment who is very accommodative and swift for any support.
I highly recommend Dr Nagendra Singh Chouhan for any heart related matters. Medanta is lucky to have him in their panel and good wishes to him. Thanks Sudeep Taneja

“He is God to us as he has given a new life to my father.”
He is the Best Cardiologist i have ever met. My father was left with 15% heart and having other severe issues. We met Doctor Nagendra Sir three months back, he admitted my father immediately and started his treatment and that time heart transplant was the only option for my father’s survival. But we follow his guidelines and instructions so now my father is recovering and transplant is also not recovered. He is the most humble and supportive all the time. “He is God to us as he has given a new life to my father.”” Me and my family are really thankful to him. I would always suggest everyone his name if anyone has any problem related to heart. Thankyou so much Sir
one more thing i would like to add for his staff - especially Sahil and Dr. Vijay has given us so much of support during this period. Wi personally diturbed them on odd times also but they always supported me understanding the situation. So i am thankful to them also.

Coronary angiography is typically performed to diagnose coronary artery disease (CAD) or to evaluate the extent and severity of existing CAD. It’s commonly recommended when someone experiences symptoms such as chest pain (angina), shortness of breath, or other signs of heart disease. Additionally, it may be done as part of a routine evaluation for individuals at high risk of CAD, such as those with diabetes or a family history of heart disease. The procedure is also utilized to assess the effectiveness of previous interventions like angioplasty or coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery. Overall, coronary angiography helps cardiologists visualize the coronary arteries and determine the best course of treatment for the patient’s heart condition
When meeting with an interventional cardiologist, the recommendation for surgery depends on various factors including the patient’s specific heart condition, the severity of the issue, overall health, and the effectiveness of non-surgical treatments. Interventional cardiologists are skilled in both surgical and non-surgical treatments and often explore all available options before recommending surgery. Their approach typically prioritizes the least invasive yet effective treatment to address the patient’s condition. Surgery is usually considered when other treatments have not been successful or when it is deemed the most effective course of action for the patient’s health and well-being.
